Built for Grimstuf Labs. Designed to be useful to everyone.

Magrathea Project Factory is the foundation Grimstuf Labs uses to structure, validate and govern software projects from the ground up. It is being built as a local-first project factory for creating clean repository structures, enforcing repeatable standards and reducing the chaos that usually surrounds early-stage tools.

Originally created to solve our own project-management and release problems, Magrathea is being designed to grow into a platform that individuals, teams and organisations can use to create, maintain and evolve projects of their own.

Marvin the WebExtractor

A controlled web extraction tool for structured crawling, repeatable site capture and project-based analysis. Marvin is designed to collect useful web content in a more deliberate, reviewable way than a one-off scraper.

PDF Scanner

PDF inspection, scanned-page detection, text-layer checks and security/permissions reporting.

Ligature Cleaner

Text cleanup for ligatures, odd characters and translation-document processing issues.

Experimental Projects
